    Ourika Valley, is only 45 minutes south-east Marrakech at the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, driving on Atlas Road Mountain, to experience a complete change of scenery: an unspoiled nature, river and vast valley. This dense green valley runs deep into the High Atlas Mountains. With its donkeys tethered near to mountain streams and typical Berber hamlets, a real invitation to discover deep Morocco.

    This day trip to Ourika Valley from Marrakech is ideal for nature lovers and trekking into one of the beautiful waterfalls, or just relax and have a snack at one of the local cafes under the shade of the walnut trees next to the stream. After a 30 minutes drive via the fertile Haouz Planes, you will reach Tnin Ouika centre, where you will stop for a visit of the open air Berber weekly market. It is operated every day, but Mondays are much busier and lively. From there you will continue up to Setti Fatma. The pleasure continues by visiting the Berber “ecological” mud house built with natural materials representing an authentic architecture in this region, we will stop at a Berber house where you can share a cup of Moroccan mint tea and hot made-home bread with the locals... Later we visit a local women's Argan oil cooperative to learn all about the elaborate process of producing this precious oil before you continue to Setti Fatma Berber village. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided trek into the waterfalls above the village. Return back to the village where you can have lunch at one of the local restaurants next to the stream.
