Casablanca

Casablanca is a port city and commercial hub in western Morocco, fronting the Atlantic Ocean. The city’s French colonial legacy is seen in its downtown Mauresque architecture, a blend of Moorish style and European art deco. Standing partly over the water, the enormous Hassan II Mosque, completed in 1993, has a 210m minaret topped with lasers directed toward Mecca.

Fes

Fes is a northeastern Moroccan city often referred to as the country’s cultural capital. It’s primarily known for its Fes El Bali walled medina, with medieval Marinid architecture, vibrant souks and old-world atmosphere. The medina is home to religious schools such as the 14th-century Bou Inania and Al Attarine, both decorated with elaborate cedar carvings and ornate tile work.

Day 1: CASABLANCA ­- RABAT­ – MEKNES –VOLUBILIS– FES

Day 1: Casablanca → Rabat → Meknes → Volubilis → Fes

Your private driver will pick you up in Casablanca in the morning. Your first stop is Rabat, Morocco’s current capital. Here, you’ll explore:

• The ancient Roman ruins of Chellah

• The Royal Palace

• The blue-and-white streets of Kasbah of the Udayas

• The iconic Hassan Tower

Next, head to Meknes, another imperial city. Visit:

• Bab Mansour, a grand gate with marble pillars from Volubilis

• The Tomb of Sultan Moulay Ismail

Continue to Volubilis, a 3rd-century BC Roman (and Amazigh) archaeological site. After exploring, drive to Fes for an overnight stay in a traditional Riad. (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 2: Fes → Ifran → Azrou → Midelt → Merzouga (Camel Trekking)

After breakfast, journey toward the Sahara Desert. Along the way:

• Stop in Ifran (“Morocco’s Little Switzerland”)

• Visit the cedar forests of Azrou (spot wild Barbary macaques)

• Pass through Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani

Arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll:

• Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) to Marrakech

• Overnight in a Riad (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 5: Marrakech (Optional Tour) → Departure
